How It Works
The S2 Underwater Game Camera is the first and only trail camera built to operate underwater. Powered by artificial intelligence, the S2 Camera mirrors the abilities of cutting-edge terrestrial trail cameras. The S2 is designed to take pictures at set intervals. Each image is then analyzed by our machine learning algorithm to determine whether or not a fish is present. This is the most advanced form of remote monitoring available for aquatic habitats, and our cameras help fishermen and conversationalists learn more about fish and other aquatic species.
Functionality
The S2 Underwater Game Camera offers two primary modes of functionality: “trail camera” mode, which uses AI to operate as a trail camera, and live feed mode, which operates similarly to other underwater cameras. Users can access their camera roll, configure camera settings, and access their camera’s live feed, all through the easy-to-use mobile app.

Weather Resistant Housing
The battery housing (the part that remains above water) features a weather-resistant, roto-molded design and water-resistant ports, ensuring that your camera is equipped to be deployed even in the midst of harsh weather including rain, sleet, and snow.
High Resolution Camera
Equipped with an 8-megapixel, 130-degree camera lens, the S2 Game Camera produces HD photos and video. The 130-degree camera lens ensures that our camera captures the most life possible on screen, both in “trail camera” mode and in live feed mode.
Cable
Our low-profile cable allows for easy cord management on the side of the battery housing. Our 40-foot cable is plenty for the vast majority of applications. For anyone seeking an even longer cable, please reach out to us directly. Custom units are available upon request.
Power
The S2 Underwater Camera is both AC and DC compatible, allowing users to choose the ideal power source for their needs, whether a 12V battery or a 120-volt outlet. The camera is equipped with a USB charging port so that users utilizing our live feed capabilities do not need to worry about running their phone out of charge.
Battery Life
When purchasing a camera with a battery, users will be equipped with two 15Ah Amped Outdoors batteries within their camera. 30Ah of battery will allow users to enjoy up to 3 1/2 days of continuous runtime while utilizing the S2’s trail camera functionality. When using the live feed, users can get up to 80 hours of runtime, depending on setting configuration.
Wireless Connectivity
Interfacing with your camera is entirely wireless and is handled via the mobile app, which is both Apple and Android compatible.
Retroactive Recording
When operating in live feed mode, our camera offers a retroactive record function. In the settings, users can enable this function which will cause the camera to continuously hold the last 20 seconds of footage. Then, when the record button is pressed during live feed mode, the camera will save the last 20 seconds of footage, in addition to the next 20 seconds. (depending on your settings). Now, you can still capture the moment a fish strikes, even if it already happened.
